Pump Sales Representative

Waterwright Irrigation (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a motivated Pump Sales Representative to drive the sales of Pumps, with a strong focus on the mining, agriculture sector and other industrial customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, visiting mines and industrial sites, building lasting customer relationships, and converting sales leads into profitable business.

Key Responsibilities

• Market and sell Pumps to mines, industrial customers, contractors and other potential clients.
• Conduct regular sales visits to mining sites and prospective customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable pumping solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Generate leads, prepare quotations, follow up on sales opportunities and close deals.
• Achieve sales targets and provide regular sales reports.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.

Requirements

• A qualification in Sales, Marketing, Engineering or a related field is an advantage.
• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in pumps, mining equipment, irrigation or industrial products.
• Knowledge of the mining sector and its procurement processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• A strong business development mindset with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively to mines and customer sites.
