What this site is
ipcjobs.org is a job marketplace and a labour market record operated by Industrial Psychology Consultants (Pvt) Ltd. It brings employers and job seekers together and publishes figures about the Zimbabwean labour market. It is not an employment agency, it does not employ anybody, and it is not a party to any contract you make with an employer.
Nobody pays to look for work
Using this site as a job seeker is free and always will be. No employer on this platform may ask you for money to apply, to be shortlisted, to be interviewed or to be hired. If anyone asks you for a fee, a deposit, bank details or a payment of any kind, that is fraud. Do not pay, and report it. We will take the advert down and remove the account.
If you are looking for work
- Tell the truth on your profile. Inventing a qualification or an employer is grounds for removal, and it wastes the time of people who are hiring.
- The profile must be yours. Do not register on somebody else's behalf without their knowledge.
- What you write in the Job Hunt Circle must be your own experience. It passes a safety check, and anything abusive, or naming a person in an accusation, is held or refused.
If you are advertising
- Register with your organisation's own email address, never a personal one, and be prepared to prove the organisation exists.
- Advertise real vacancies. An advert that exists to collect CVs, or to advertise a course, a scheme or an opportunity to invest, will be removed.
- Never ask a candidate for money, for bank details, or for a payment of any kind, at any stage.
- What a job seeker gives you here is given for the purpose of that role. Do not pass it on, sell it, or use it for anything else.
- You are responsible for what your advert says, including that it is lawful and not discriminatory.
What we may do
We may remove an advert, suspend an account or refuse a registration where we believe these terms have been broken or where somebody is being put at risk. Where we can we will say why. An employer whose identity we cannot establish may build adverts but may not publish them.
What we do not promise
We do not promise that you will find work, or that you will find a candidate. We do not promise that every advert is accurate, particularly the ones collected from other job boards, which we republish as we found them and mark as such. We check what we reasonably can and we say plainly where a figure or an advert came from.
The site is provided as it is. We are not liable for a loss arising from a decision you make on the strength of something published here, and nothing on this site is legal, financial or medical advice.
The figures published here
The labour market figures on this site measure advertised demand, what employers are asking for in writing. They are not a measure of employment or of unemployment in Zimbabwe, and they must not be presented as one. You may quote them, and we ask that you say where they came from and on what date, because they change.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
A qualified legal practitioner should review these terms before this platform opens to the public.
