Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations.
- Train, coach and mentor housekeeping staff on professional cleaning standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular room inspections and ensure rooms meet luxury hotel standards.
- Monitor staff performance, productivity and adherence to departmental SOPs.
- Ensure proper handling of linen, laundry, cleaning equipment and housekeeping supplies.
- Implement quality control measures and maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Identify training needs and conduct regular refresher training.
- Prepare duty rosters, inspection reports and staff performance assessments.
- Ensure guest requests and housekeeping complaints are handled promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a 4-star or 5-star hotel.
- Proven experience in supervising and training housekeeping teams.
- Excellent knowledge of luxury hotel room-cleaning standards, laundry operations and hygiene procedures.
