• Leading by example and keeping the crew working together
• Clear instructions and early reporting of problems

• Civil construction methods and sequence
• Reading basic construction drawings
• Setting out with tape, line, level and profiles
• Concrete mixing, placing and curing
• Safe use of scaffolds, ladders, power tools and small plant

Requirements

• Class 1 or Journeymen trade certificate in a civil trade, or equivalent.
• Minimum of (5) years of relevant construction experience, including at least (2) years leading a gang or crew.
• Demonstrated ability to organise labour, achieve daily output targets, maintain quality workmanship and work safely on construction sites.
• Experience on multi-trade building or civil projects will be an advantage.
• An NSSA SHE or first aid course, or other relevant safety training, will be an advantagevehicle class requires it.
