Field Technical Sales Representative

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Field Technical Sales Representative to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, promoting our crane hire, heavy equipment rental and technical services, and building strong client relationships.

The successful candidate will conduct field visits, assess customer equipment requirements, provide technical advice, prepare competitive quotations, follow up on leads, and consistently achieve sales targets. The role also involves maintaining accurate sales reports, monitoring market trends, and preparing sales forecasts to support strategic business decisions.

The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of heavy machinery, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop business within the mining, construction, industrial and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Degree in Sales, Marketing, Degree in Logistics or a Technical Diploma/certificate (Artisan) or a related field.
• At least 5 years proven technical or field sales experience.
• Familiar with the following sectors: mining, construction, engineering and logistics
• Familiarity with digital tools and social media for sales engagement is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• A valid driver's licence is a must.
