About the role
The Stock Controller will be responsible for monitoring and controlling stock levels, ensuring inventory accuracy, minimizing stock losses and supporting efficient stock management across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations
- Monitor stock movements and investigate variances
- Ensure accurate stock records on the system
- Maintain optimal stock levels
- Identify and report slow-moving, expired or damaged stock
- Implement and support stock loss prevention measures
- Prepare inventory and stock reports
- Work closely with the procurement, warehouse and store teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Logistics or a related field
- At least 3 years' relevant experience, preferably in retail, supermarket, FMCG or distribution
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with inventory/stock management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
- A strong commitment to minimizing stock losses and maintaining inventory integrity
