JOB SUMMARY
The overall purpose of the office is to promote, coordinate and oversee implementation of the Freedom of Information Act Chapter 10:33, ensuring compliance with information access standards and the Commission’s regulatory framework. The incumbent will lead initiatives that enhance transparency, accountability and proactive disclosure by public institutions in line with the Zimbabwe Media Commission’s constitutional mandate to uphold citizens’ right to access information.
