Key Responsibilities

• Capable of preparing and cooking meals following a preset menu in accordance with the Health and Safety Regulations.
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, beef, poultry and other foods.
• Serve food.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• At least a certificate in Hotel and Catering or equivalent qualification.
• Five or more years of experience as a cook
• Experience working in a boarding school is an added advantage
