Key Responsibilities

• Collects fuel from pick-up points and delivers it safely to base station sites, accepting and closing all planned and emergency deliveries on the AUTIN system.
• Conducts all fuel offloading connections (pump, hose, power connection) to ensure safe transfer into generator tanks and records tank levels before and after refuelling.
• Carries out first-line generator inspections during site visits and reports faults for attention.
• Ensures ZESA tokens are correctly recharged and verified at all assigned sites.
• Safeguards fuel in transit and on site, reporting any variances, tampering or theft.
• Engages casual workers on fuel carriage to inaccessible sites.
• Makes sure that the site is clean and checks on site security.
• Maintains the vehicle in a roadworthy condition and complies with all safety requirements for transporting and handling fuel.
• Compiles daily site reports, including access roads requiring attention, and responds to emergency refuelling call-outs, including after hours.

Requirements

• A minimum 6 "O" Levels including Mathematics
• Class 2 Driver's licence
• Defensive driving certificate
• 3years minimum driving experience
