Sales Co-ordinator

JOB PURPOSE

Supports the sales team by processing customer orders, keeping sales records up to date, following up on customer queries and preparing routine sales reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, check and record customer orders, then track them until delivery.

• Answer routine customer enquiries and pass other queries to the right sales person.

• Collect sales reports from the team and help compile weekly and monthly sales reports.

• Keep sales trackers, order registers and customer files accurate and up to date.

• Organise sales meetings, take minutes and follow up on agreed actions.

• Share approved promotions and campaign details with the sales team.

• Follow up with Warehousing, Logistics and Finance on deliveries, invoices and account queries.

• Keep customer and pricing information confidential and escalate errors or irregular documents to the Sales Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma in Sales, Sales Administration, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.

• 2 to 3 years' experience in sales administration, order processing or customer service.

• Experience in FMCG, distribution, wholesale or retail is an advantage.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
