Key Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service
• Setting up tables
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders from guests, noting any special requests
• Effectively relaying orders to the kitchen or bar staff
• Upselling and recommendations
• Billing of guests and balancing sales of the day in liaison with the reception
• Assisting in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, clearing tables, resetting for the next guests
• Serving meals on time
• Maintaining float at the required levels
• Establishing the number of covers at the end of your shift

Requirements

• Applicants must have 5 Ordinary Level Subjects with a grade 'C' or better.
• The ideal candidate must have a clearance letter from the apprenticeship board and be below 24 years old.
• Possession of Advanced Level ('A' Level) subjects will be considered an added advantage.
