Logistics Officer

We are seeking a highly organised, honest, disciplined and results-driven Logistics Officer to coordinate the daily movement of our fleet, manage equipment operators and drivers, and ensure efficient deployment of machinery to client sites.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, excellent planning abilities and the confidence to manage operators, enforce discipline, resolve operational challenges and ensure accountability across all logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport operations, deliveries, collections, and dispatch activities.
• Monitor fleet utilisation, vehicle movements, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate transport documentation and logistics records.
• Coordinate with drivers, operations, sales, and customers.
• Monitor fuel usage, vehicle maintenance schedules, and transport costs.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable transport regulations.
• Prepare logistics report and maintain records

Requirements

• Degree in Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Professional Logistics qualification will be an added advantage
• At least 5 years logistics, fleet, or transport coordination experience.
• Knowledge of fleet management and procurement process
• Valid class 2 driver's licence
• Strong planning, reporting, communication, and computer skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
