Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive Class 1 or Class 2 trucks to deliver goods and materials on time.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure proper loading, securing and unloading of cargo.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle.
- Follow road safety rules and company procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a truck driver.
- Good knowledge of local and regional routes (advantage).
- Valid Defensive driving certificate.
- Valid medical certificate.
- Clean driving record.
- Physically fit and able to work under pressure.
- Responsible, honest and punctual.
