Key Responsibilities
- Consultancy to develop and share disability-focused knowledge products.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in social sciences, public health, development studies, disability studies, rehabilitation, or a related field.
- At least 7 years' experience in research, evaluation or knowledge management in disability inclusion, CBR, or inclusive development.
- Demonstrated experience producing published research, policy briefs, case studies or similar knowledge products.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, including working with programme monitoring data.
- Proven experience applying participatory, ethical and safeguarding-sensitive methods with persons with disabilities and children.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to write for both technical and community audiences.
- Knowledge of the Zimbabwean disability and development context.
- Familiarity with the WHO CBR Matrix and CRPD.
- Proficiency in Shona and/or Ndebele, and knowledge of Zimbabwean Sign Language.
- Skills in data visualisation (Power BI, Excel), graphic design, photography or video production, or a team that can provide them.
- Lived experience of disability, or a team that includes persons with disabilities, is strongly encouraged.
