Key Responsibilities

• Review and assign accurate medical codes to patient records (ICD-10, CPT, etc.).
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with coding and billing guidelines.
• Prepare and submit claims to medical aids and insurers.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and resolve billing queries.
• Reconcile payments and update patient financial records.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient files (electronic and physical).
• Assist with reception duties, including greeting patients, phone calls and appointment scheduling.
• Support general administration tasks, including data entry, filing and report preparation.
• Work closely with the clinical, finance and IT teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Medical Coding Diploma (required).
• Accounting Degree or Diploma (required).
• Or related qualification (required).
• Reception experience (an added advantage).
• Valid Driver's Licence (required).
