Key Responsibilities

• Drive branch sales, revenue, profitability, and market-share growth through effective strategies.
• Set and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly targets, taking corrective action to address performance gaps.
• Identify new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, customer profiling, and market trends.
• Manage branch budgets, expenditure, operating costs, and profitability while ensuring effective financial controls.
• Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, standards, and internal controls.
• Lead, motivate, and develop staff through clear performance objectives, regular reviews, coaching, and action planning.
• Manage stock effectively, including FIFO, stock availability, markdown reduction and shrinkage control.
• Align departmental activities with the overall branch strategy and ensure achievement of agreed business objectives.
• Drive customer satisfaction and retention through high service standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyse and report on branch performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and actions required to improve overall business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Finance, or a related field.
• A Masters in Business Administration would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience in branch management, retail operations, sales, or a similar commercial environment.
• Proven experience in achieving sales, revenue, profitability, and customer-retention targets.
• Strong financial management, budgeting, cost-control and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated experience in stock management, inventory control, shrinkage control and operational risk management.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver against agreed targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business, sales, or inventory management systems
